Capt. Hugh Weekdays 7a–1p
Yacht Club Brunch Sunday 10a–2p
Capt. Hugh — formerly Mr. Holesome — came up through morning zoo radio in Detroit, his face on billboards across the Motor City as co-host of Jay & The Morning Revolution on 93-1 DRQ. Twenty years in film and TV sound recording followed before he built Yacht Rockin' Radio from scratch.
Weekday mornings he holds down the Air Chair solo — running the Yacht Club Lunch, championing lost treasures via the Deep Dive, and co-producing the weekly Your 45s Are 50 countdown.
Weekends he's joined by The Contessa — his wife, co-pilot, and the reason the show has any class at all.
He still needs your help naming the Wednesday Lunch Show. STILL.

Ensign Williams has been at this longer than he'll admit — which is saying something, since he and Capt. Hugh first crossed paths at WKDS in Kalamazoo back in 1984. You do the math.
Known across nautical miles, he built a career in broadcasting and voiceover work that spans decades — his voice heard on thousands of productions for clients ranging from State Farm and Microsoft to Harley Davidson and the US Army. The guy next door sound with the resume to back it up. He stepped into the 1–7p weekday slot following the loss of Lt. Dann, and has made it his own while honoring what came before. He began his radio career on dry land. He has since taken to the calm seas with gusto.
(Gusto is what I told him guacamole is called.)
Remember Season 1 of Gilligan's Island?
And "the rest"?
It was literally 2 more people!

Bob was drawn to radio by his love of music and entertaining people. He has worked on the air at BobZak many popular radio stations around the country over the years for a wide range of music formats and still enjoys being on the radio today as much as he did when played his first record on the radio back in the 1980s. His familiar voice has also been heard on more than 3000 commercials. Bob loves golf, playing the drums and a good cigar. But most of all, he enjoys bringing great music and fun to the weekends on
Yacht Rockin Radio.
“Out of the Main” is a yacht rock podcast celebrating and exploring the past, presence—and, yes!—even the future of one of the most proficient and accomplished eras of musicianship and studio production...perhaps ever. “Out of the Main” was launched by two of the genre’s biggest fans—both musicians themselves—who, like a growing wave of aficionados all around the world, have been exploring the history, the enjoyment, and now the potential of the West Coast Cool sound of the late 70s and early 80s. Join the revelry. Partake in the nostalgia. Discover buried treasures.
And explore new, perhaps even uncharted, waters of Yacht Rock perfection.
